Long Island Eats Takes Foxwoods

This past weekend, Long Island Eats went on the road and paid Foxwoods Resort Casino a visit. From the restaurants to the activities, there is so much to do and see at this resort! Here are some of the things we did during our stay:

Stony Creek Brewery

From the second we got to the property, Long Island Eats hit the ground running and the first stop on the list was Stony Creek Brewery. Located in the Grand Pequot Tower, which is where we stayed the night, this place is a beer-lover’s paradise! They brew several beers on-site and have several other options depending on your preference. We had the opportunity to sample a few of their beers and beer-infused cocktails along with their small plates, which were all delicious! A member of the staff also gave us a tour of the facility and taught us more about the brewing process, which added to our overall experience immensely. A huge plus to this place is that you can play games such as Connect Four, Jenga and Ping Pong while you sip on your beer, making you feel like you’re right at home!

CAKE by Franck

If you have a sweet tooth, CAKE by Franck is a must-try! With cakes, cookies, donuts and more, there’s options for whatever dessert you’re craving during your stay at Foxwoods. We had the pleasure of trying their vanilla buttercream cake, which was topped with macaroons and chocolate ganache. In addition to the delightful taste, the creations at CAKE are absolutely stunning and are true works of art, so be sure to stop by and take a look at some of their insanely decorated cakes displayed in the window!

Cedars Steakhouse & Oyster Bar

For Dinner, Long Island Eats took on Cedars Steakhouse & Oyster Bar. All we can say is WOW! From the service and ambiance to the menu, this place is perfect for a date night or dinner with friends and family. If you’re looking for food recommendations, we had the Tuna Poke Tacos, Garlic Bread with Cheese Fondue, Meatloaf, Petite Cut Filet Mignon, Mac N Cheese, Creamed Corn and Fruit Fiesta with White Chocolate Mousse. Every single thing we ordered tasted great and was served in a timely manner, which is important when there are so many activities to explore at the resort! If you’re looking for a place to dine during your stay, Cedars should be on your list.

Overall, Long Island Eats had an amazing time at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Along with the food, the casino, Shrine Nightclub and the many places to shop ensured we were always busy and having a great time!
